Vitamin E Associated with Increased Risk For Prostate Cancer

Between August 2001 and June 2004, 34,887 men enrolled in the Selenium And Vitamin E Cancer Prevention Trial were randomly assigned to take vitamin E (8,737), selenium (8,752), combination (8,702) or placebo (8,696). The Vitamin E alone arm showed a 17% increased risk for prostate cancer at 7 years.
